Book your ultimate Cornish Holiday.
Situated at the mouth of the Camel Estuary on the North Cornish Coast, Polzeath is Close to Rock, Padstow & Port Isaac.
As of 21st March we have taken the decision, along with all other campsites and letting agents in the area, to close all our self catering properties and both campsites until the 22nd of May due to the government advice regarding non essential travel and safe distancing for everyone. Anyone who has a booking between now and then will be contacted in the next few days.
Our number one priority is to keep the local residents and staff as safe as we can so we can all come back stronger and ready to welcome all our valued customers back to Cornwall when this crisis is over.
We strongly urge everyone to follow the government advice and not to visit Cornwall or indeed any other part of the UK at this time to help prevent this virus spreading.
Thank you all for your co-operation and see you all the other side. #staysafe #bekind
Polzeath is a truly magical place and home to one of the most spectacular surfing beaches in Cornwall.
Its award winning beach boasts a prestigious Blue Flag award and it is family friendly with RNLI lifeguards on patrol daily from Easter to September.
With two exceptional campsites to choose from in Tristram and Southwinds, you’re guaranteed to have an exceptional adventure and enjoy every moment.
Tristram is situated right on the front of the cliff top with access to the beach.
Southwinds is a short way outside the village on top of the hill, affording some stunning sea & countryside views.
With excellent views and great facilities, the site is ideal for families and couples who wish for some peace and quiet after a long day on the beach.
It is made up of three spacious fields with ample parking facilitates for vehicles of all sizes.
Southwinds boasts the most beautiful panoramic views of both sea and countryside, situated on top of a hill.
Tristram Campsite is positioned on the gently sloping and beautifully grassy cliff overlooking Polzeath Beach, the view really has to be seen to be believed.
The site itself is fenced off from the beach path providing both privacy and safety, especially for children.

I would like to say what a lovely campsite Southwinds is. The whole place was lovely and clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
I will be telling everyone about this place and the lovely couple who work there. Thank you so much!

“We received a very warm welcome from Sas, with an explanation about the facilities on site.
Toilets & showers were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water. This has always been our first choice site when staying in Cornwall.
Looking forward to another stay at Southwinds!

Tristram campsite could not be better positioned. It is on the side of the cliff and has amazing views of Polzeath beach, the sea and the coast. It is the perfect camping holiday for surfers, families, dog walkers, cyclists, runners, kids & teenagers. If you camp at Tristram when it’s sunny, warm & clear as we did this last week, it is the perfect combination the UK has to offer!
